As most of us are aware there's this small web service called facebook. Its a great place to keep up with friends and family. then there's the other side when disagreements come up, this is where any service that promotes people to "vent" can go really wrong. Not to blame the service itself but its users.
Now im sure we have all seen this but over the past few months things have gotten out of hand on my close families side of things. Going from playful stirring to outright disgraceful comments (and beyond) in a matter of days, when those very words said would never be uttered face to face. Now ignore what your ego is telling you when its going into defensive mode. Now picture yourself standing in front of that person saying those exact words. The chances of them actually being said would be diminished dramatically and the issue would either fall by the wayside or be resolved by other means.
So please before lashing out on social networking sites picture yourself as a calm non ego fueled person standing in front of your attack target. THEN comment, not before.
