Well its been many moons since i last posted around ( i know my millions of fans are weeping). Its been a while because i have been moving away from my (very) long time habit of gaming. Looking forward to new work opportunities ( ill talk more about that later) and getting another car, giving my current on to my Gf.
Warcraft as good as it is, is definitely in a slump at the moment having given up on a LK kill before cataclysm and moving more towards the PvP environment. recently this move has energized my will to play but is yet to sustain it. PvP is enjoyable / engaging and most of all fun, yet if im after fun now days ill probably prefer to play with my son or when he is asleep hunt around drifting blogs and motor sports web pages. a list of my favorites are below.

Now with all this car abuse and general mayhem that i love. You could be mistaken i have my own and get to endure all this also. Well you would be incorrect, I currently drive a nice yet dull Ford wagon on deep 18s. The goal definitely soon is to obtain a car i can work with and build up over time, only to then throw it around the track to most likely destroy it again (beautiful cycle isn't it).
This encourages yet another hurdle to rear its ugly head, one we all dislike in some way. Money, You see this is something i do not have allot of but with a few ideas and some push and shove things should be turning around in the new year. While my current position in the metal industry isnt setting my world on fire but its soon going to be giving some wiggle room in what i can do.
Recently this has all been turned on its head with a simple txt msg. Saturday night i get a txt msg from a contractor asking me about a position i applied for as an apprentice carpenter. Dont get me wrong here trades are amazing opportunities, yet in my current situation allot didn't seem to relate.
One major issue was the hours, the general scheme of things went by working 10hrs a day M-F / Half to full day Saturday / Common Sundays are expected. Secondly was one sentence of words that had me worried more so IIRC - "Expecting to get paid on a weekly basis would be nice but that's not how it works" - or something of that nature (woo go memory @ 11pm). These together after much thought and consideration (remembering ive wanted to do a trade for many years)meant i cannot take upon this opportunity and make it work. Money is one thing (as huge as it is) but being there for my children, showing them how the world works and the real wonder of learning and discovery surpasses anything a trade can offer me.
Holy crap its nearing 11:40 and i need to be up at5am. more 2moro!
